January 22, 2013

How to set up iCloud on iPhone 5Having an iPhone 5 and not being able to connect to iCloud is just not done. iCloud is the cool new way to share data and have online storage. So, you get what you want on the go. Using iCloud and your net connection, data gets automatically shared among all your iOS devices as well as your computer. With this online storage feature, you can save everything you want to iCloud. With iCloud you can store your iPhone backup and even restore your settings and data.

Here are the steps to set up iCloud on your iPhone 5.

  1. Go to the home screen and tap the ‘Settings’ icon.
  2. Now tap on ‘iCloud’.
  3. Now go to ‘Account.’
  4. You will now require setting up an Apple ID and password.
  5. Now set up your iCloud storage plan.
  6. You will automatically get 5GB iCloud storage space free. You can of course upgrade to 10GB, 20GB, or 50GB of storage for an annual fee.
  7. Now just tap the ‘Done’ button. You will now automatically return to iCloud settings.
  8. Now set your iCloud Mail account options.
  9. The iCloud email address will appear at the bottom of the Account screen.
  10. Just tap on any switch to turn on or off the iCloud synchronization for a particular piece of information. Press the Home button to exit Settings.
